When should I renew my Malaysia VEP?

Renew before your VEP expires. If it lapses, your RFID tag stops being valid and you can be turned away or fined at the checkpoint. Send us your details a few weeks ahead and we handle the renewal so there's no gap.

My VEP has already expired. Can you still help?

Yes. We check your current status with JPJ, sort out what's needed, and submit the renewal. If your RFID tag is still in good condition it usually keeps working once the renewal goes through; if it needs replacing, we arrange that too.

Do I need a new RFID tag when I renew?

Not always. Many drivers keep their existing tag through a renewal. We check yours and tell you before you pay for anything you don't need.

How long does a renewal take?

JPJ approval usually runs 5 to 10 working days, the same as a new application. We submit as soon as your details are in and keep you updated.
