    VEP pricing questions

    Applying for the VEP yourself at the official JPJ portal is free. A done-for-you service like ours is S$125 per vehicle (S$230 for two) for the application. RFID installation is S$50 (windscreen tags at Danga Bay in Johor Bahru, headlight tags at our Bishan office) and deregistration is S$168. You also pay Malaysia's own road charge of RM20 per entry (paid via Touch 'n Go) and tolls.

    The S$125 covers checking your documents, submitting your VEP application to JPJ, and monitoring it through to approval. Two vehicles are S$230. RFID installation is a separate S$50 charge, and deregistration is S$168.

    It depends on your tag type. Windscreen tags are installed and activated on the spot at Danga Bay in Johor Bahru. Headlight tags are collected by us and installed at our office in Bishan, Singapore. Either option is S$50, including activation and Touch 'n Go linking. We no longer offer mobile on-site installation.
